How iPhone has changed the way I Live?

iphone3gs

1) Wakes me up – with an alarm in the morning

2) First thing in the morning – check my email on iPhone, then check Twitter (all this while am still in bed)

3) Way I poop – no iPhone no poop :-(

4) Check weather – (Weather app & the Weather Channel App) and dress appropriately to work

5) Check daily news – while commuting to work (Bloomberg, DailyFinance, NYTimes – all apps).

6) Take random pictures – upload it to Facebook using Facebook app

7) If no help – try Yelp :-) – an app to find restaurants, clubs, bar etc (using your current location) and read and write reviews.

8) Keep an eye on all my finance stuff using an app called “A Personal Assistant” from “PageOnce

9) You are never lost: use Google Maps integrated with GPS.

10) Play games while commuting back to home from work (you will have to use public transport for that). My current favorite game is “Unblock Me” (free).

11) Use notes application to jot down random thoughts/to do/important stuffs.

12) Poor PC & Desktop – I turn on my laptop or PC only if I really need it such as I’m using it now – while writing this post.

Now, I never feel bored and alone when I have iPhone. Well, my wife is now a days is getting way too jealous of this iPhone! If something happens to my iPhone then I know whom to blame it on.

I agree. I am too a fan of iPhone.

    I do these additional things
    1. Read subscribed feeds whenever I am made to wait or when I am on bed and not feeling sleepy
    2. carry my calender with me

btw, just forgot to mention that there are some issues with iPhone. If you are planning to buy one make sure you consider the purpose for buying iPhone.

I dont consider iPhone to be the best “phone”. So if you are a heavy phone user, I dont recommend it. Here are some issues:
    1. slow response
    2. you must look at the screen to do any operation
    3. sometimes you will disconnect the call because of a minor slippage of the finger
    4. moving from a keypad based phone to touch screen will have significant impact

The email though not as good as blackberry but it has nice email reading and simple editing features.

Do you know that X-mas gift giving started around 1849 with a revival of the X-mas festival and the popularity of Saint Nicholas. The giving of gifts for men and women, children, wives and husbands became popular. Advertisers in the 1920s marketed the idea of X-mas shopping and presents. A Xmas gift was viewed as a way to promote family togetherness. Xmas now is typically the largest annual economic stimulus for many countries. Mum and dad search hard for Xmas gift ideas for their family, trying to come up with suggestions for a unique present. Xmas sales increase dramatically in almost all retail areas and shops – including online websites – as they introduce new products as people purchase gifts, decorations, and supplies.
